Rogier Duintjer Tebbens has been intrigued all his life by the gems and minerals that occur in nature, that’s why in the past 6 years he has been collecting old vintage along with antique jewelry and gemstones with the aim of turning them into unique jewelry.
In 2017 he set up his own workshop and later on, in 2018, he started jewelry forging and designing courses and developing his skills and techniques in this trade. Additionally, RDT started doing extensive research on diamonds, sapphires, ruby, tourmaline and other gemstones with purpose of applying this knowledge when buying high-quality gemstones. That is the reason he proudly started his own gold and silversmith shop, jewelrybyRDT.
“My passion is to create unique pieces of jewelry by fusion of old vintage and antique jewelry in a new design. And by repairing or restoring them to their former glory.”
